I created this leaf pattern during the summer, as a way to ease myself back into finger crocheting. Finger crochet is my first love. In 2016 or 2017 I saw a video of a lady arm knitting a blanket and I had to try it for myself! It took forever to find a jumbo Marino wool supplier in the UK, but I eventually found world of wool (who I still use today). I followed the tutorial and this was the result:

Since then, I’ve followed a few more tutorials, and adapted my style. In 2022 I created an Instagram account for inspiration and started seeing a lot of amigurumi popping up on my feed. I tried to find a way to incorporate that cuteness into my arm knitting, but I couldn’t figure out how, so I taught myself to crochet (with hooks). Once I understood how crochet worked, I was able to recreate some patterns but finger crochet instead. I have so many ideas for new project tutorials that I want to release in 2025. If you’re an anime lover, you will definitely want to stick around!
Back to this leaf pattern- it is really easy to follow and it will only take 20 minutes to complete. I use my leaf to rest my keys/ phone so I know where to find them. Or you could use it as cute decor for your desk space/ bedside table.
